As a BA student, my scholarly interests were mostly in the field of English Literature, more explicitly the Victorian Era, together with literary theory, psychology and philosophy. My BA thesis was the perfect opportunity for me to dive deeper into the sphere of psychology, as I researched both Freud and Jung’s works in order to ”psychoanalyze” Emily Brönte’s Wuthering Heights.
As a future teacher, two of my main priorities in life have been focusing on my studies and evolving to such extent that one day I will be able to share my knowledge with others. This is why the academical environment of the British Cultural Studies MA programme is just the place for me to continue expanding my insight in the various fields which encompass the essence of the British culture.
