My academic interests revolve around postmodern and postcolonial thought, particularly in relation to questions of identity, perception, and representation within British literature. I have always been drawn to the ways in which British writers explore the fluidity of selfhood and the subtle tensions between personal and cultural identity.

Having graduated in 2025 with a BA in English (major), this MA feels like a natural continuation of my intellectual journey. The programme’s emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches and critical theory provides the ideal framework for developing a more nuanced understanding of literature’s role in shaping cultural and personal identity.
