My academic interests are rooted in contemporary cultural theory, with a particular focus on postmodernism and its intersections with gender, identity politics, and the study of marginalised subjectivities. I am especially drawn to the way literature and cultural texts represent psychological interiority and negotiate questions of agency, fragmentation, and selfhood.

During my undergraduate studies in Applied Modern Languages, I developed a strong interest in the relationship between language, culture, and interpretation, gaining both theoretical grounding and methodological adaptability. These experiences shaped my current research direction, strengthening my desire to explore how British cultural production engages with social, psychological, and aesthetic questions.

Pursuing an MA in British Culture represents a natural continuation of my academic path, offering an ideal framework for deepening my critical practice and refining my voice as an emerging scholar.
