My scholarly interests lie in the field of postmodernist thought, with its extensions into gender, disability/madness, and queer studies. My BA thesis analysed the mental process of depersonalization in Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse from a phenomenological perspective that reconfigures the narrativized language of mental illness in the novel.

Having graduated with a major in English and having always been interested in British culture and literature, this MA programme has represented a natural extension of my academic path. The investigation topics and research conditions provided in this programme are proving invaluable for my methodical development as an aspiring young scholar.
