Having graduated from my BA studies at the University of Bucharest, I have benefitted from undergoing both English and Korean studies. This interdisciplinary background has shaped my interest in cultural plurality, intercultural encounters, and the ways in which identity is negotiated across linguistic, historical and social contexts.
Alongside my studies, I work as an English teacher, a practice which continually informs my academic perspective. Teaching has inspired me to examine how cultural and social dynamics are communicated and experienced across different contexts.
Through the MA programme, I aim to deepen my theoretical knowledge and develop research that investigates the intersections of culture, feminism, power, and representation in both literary and social spheres.
