I graduated with a minor in English and chose to write my undergraduate thesis on the topic of female otherness in the gothic novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I have a profound passion for English literature and culture and have considered this MA programme to be suitable to my interests in gender studies, art and trauma studies. I strongly believe that this programme will help me gain further knowledge on topics that I am passionate about and it will allow me to pursue an array of different career paths in the future.
