My academic interests lie in the field of education and the way literature is able to aid children in the process of learning a foreign language; Shakespeare and his literary effects in Renaissance society; Julia Kristeva’s theory of intertextuality and how that is seen in the legend of King Arthur that we have come to know today; and all in all the way literature shapes British culture and at the same time is shaped by it. My future career interest lies in a position in the academia concerning British Cultural Studies.
