My studies have always been deeply intertwined with my efforts to make sense of my experience, or rather, to gain some mental clarity and order when faced with a world that’s increasingly difficult to tease meaning out of. This MA programme manages to offer an array of avenues subsumed to this interpretive effort; I thus find intellectual satisfaction and even solace in our otherwise challenging discussions and I am deeply indebted to them in terms of the shape my research endeavours grow into. My most complex research project so far analyzes a series of video essays through the lens of the emergent critical theory of digimodernism. My current research interests exist at the intersection between philosophical and historical perspectives on matters relevant to our current sense of cultural identity.
