Facilitating intercultural learning as a cultural entrepreneur, I set up intercultural projects, which give participants the freedom to explore, engage in and observe interactions between different social classes, generations and cultures. I explore ideas related to stereotypes, prejudice and racism, the power of conflict and conflict resolution and how personal motivation determines engagement with and understanding of identity and otherness. Working as a translator and content creator, I know that while we may speak the same language, understanding each other is not a given.

My interest in identity, cultural diversity, heritage and the evolution of cultural concepts we come across daily have brought me to the British Cultural Studies MA. This programme is a good opportunity to discover new concepts with reference to cultural studies, see different perspectives and gain a deeper and better understanding of one’s own identity and the multicultural societies we now live in.
