BA in Philology (Romanian and English), Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest, 2023
I graduated from the Faculty of Letters, having explored in my BA thesis Queer Signs in Call Me by You Name and its film adaptation. My areas of interest in academia consist of gender studies, queer studies, and, of course, cultural studies. The Cultural Studies elective taken in my 3rd year of college proved very useful in many other classes, so I consider this MA programme to be the best choice for my academic pursuits.
I aspire to become a researcher and, hopefully, complete my PhD at this faculty as well. Both the courses and the extracurricular activities provided by this MA will definitely help me grow on a personal and professional level. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, going to the theater, and painting.
