I graduated in 2021 with a major in Japanese and a minor in English and the decision to attend this MA programme seemed to be a coherent continuation of my BA studies. My degree dealt with psychoanalytical approaches of Shakespeare’s and Monzaemon’s plays, therefore courses such as Cultural Identities, History of Ideas, Cultural Anthropology and Introduction in Arts represent the perfect opportunity to expand my knowledge. I expect that my interest in identity, cultural heritage and the representation of the human psyche and trauma in literature to support my evolution both academically, but also personally.
