My areas of interest include the history of ideas and cultural representations, cultural diplomacy, cultural policies, contemporary theatre and film, the study of identity as expressed through the arts and media, the relationship between culture and politics, and the construction of national identities through discourses and cultural practices.
Developing a highly inter- and transdisciplinary understanding of all of these subjects (and many more!) is guaranteed given our MA programme’s eclectic methodology and commitment to equip its students with the theoretical and technical expertise needed to navigate and thrive in today’s multicultural environment as dedicated professionals and historically and culturally self-aware global citizens.
