My scholarly interests include Victorian and Romanticism literature, literary theory, cultural and anthropological criticism and studies. In my Literature BA paper I discussed the Victorian Aestheticism and the Use of Archetypes in Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray and Algernon Charles Swinburne’s Hymn to Proserpine, which included an analysis of mythology, tropes, biblical imagery and the concepts of death and beauty. and in my Sociology BA paper i discussed the influence of animation toward young girls and how it has shape them. This whole program is an opportunity for me to go more in depth with my knowledge.I am particularly interested in the courses on identity construction, cultural history, and anthropology.
